LOUISVILLE, KY, September 1, 2005 - A&W Restaurants, Inc. is celebrating the “dog days of summer” at locations from coast to coast. Available at participating A&W ../restaurants for a limited time is “The Best Doggone Coney Dog” for just 99 cents.

In addition, A&W is offering “The Best Doggone Combo,” which includes a famous Coney Dog, frosty mug of A&W Root Beer® and a choice of side items (chili cheese fries or onion rings) for only $3.39 plus tax. But there’s even more to celebrate than The Best Doggone Coney Dog and The Best Doggone Combo. A&W has partnered with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment’s hit film and DVD release of “Because of Winn-Dixie” to offer “The Best Doggone Sweepstakes.”

The winner of the sweepstakes will enjoy a six-day, five-night vacation for four to any destination in the continental United States. “The winner will get to choose the ‘best doggone vacation spot’ in the U.S. and enjoy a great getaway with the family,” said Provost.
