America Goes Curd Crazy!

Your hometown A&W® Restaurant has a reputation for serving fun food -- famous draft Root Beer Floats, Chili Cheese Fries, Sweets & Treats, Onion Rings and more. Now, there is a new addition to the "fun food" menu:
Cheese Curds.

Cheese Curds are chunks of the richest, creamiest Wisconsin white cheddar cheese, lightly breaded and fried to a golden brown. The fine folks in Wisconsin -- who know their cheese -- coined the quirky name for the popular appetizer.

Now, people outside of Wisconsin are finding out what a delicious treat A&W® Cheese Curds are. Stop by your hometown A&W® and enjoy an order today!

Win Cheese Curds for a Year!

Participating A&W® restaurants will be giving away a year's worth of Cheese Curds to one lucky customer. To have a shot at winning an order of Cheese Curds every week for a year, register at your hometown A&W® Restaurant between March 28 and April 8. A winner will be selected at each participating restaurant on April 9, and the winners will be notified shortly thereafter.

You can also register online by visiting www.curdcrazy.com, between March 28 and April 8. Good luck!

Bored at Work?

Having a hard time concentrating on a task at work? Need a little break from that project that's giving you a splitting headache?

Check out the fun game "Udder Chaos." If you've ever worked on a Wisconsin dairy farm, you'll probably have no problem with "Udder Chaos." If you've never milked a cow in your life, you'll still get a chuckle out of "lending a hand" to Mrs. Cow. Warning: This game can be addictive, and we cannot be held responsible for your lack of productivity the rest of the day.

A Blast from the Past

If you have fond memories of "hanging out at the A&W®" in your earlier years, do we have a restaurant for you.

In December, A&W® opened a brand new drive-in restaurant in Clermont, Fla., just outside Orlando. From carhops and freshly brewed root beer to rock & roll over the P.A. system and cruise nights, the Clermont restaurant is everything you remember A&W® being. And more.

The restaurant is the first company-owned drive-in opened in several decades, and it is hugely popular in central Florida. There is no other drive-in like it in the world. But then again, what else would you expect from the company that invented the drive-in concept?

If you live in central Florida, visit soon. If you're vacationing in the Orlando area, be sure to stop in for a visit. The Clermont staff looks forward to hearing your "I remember when" stories about your favorite A&W® location.

Calling All Cruisers

If you're a member of a car club that holds a regular Cruise Night event at an A&W® Restaurant, we want to hear from you. Ask the manager of your hometown A&W® to let the Great Root Bear know about your cruise night. The Bear has friends in high places, and he will make sure your Cruise Night gets listed on the schedule on the A&W® web site. You can write the Great Root Bear at greatrootbear@gmail.com.
